Thank you to all those who voted for my tourism proposal. It is my understanding the Ministry of Tourism will select the best logo and slogan for the new ad campaign based on the top 50 in each category that received the most votes, and my concept came in 19th place for slogan thanks to your votes and supports.
While it would be nice to win, my intention was to show my friends that Haiti is more than what you see or hear all the time. If I have helped in any way to change that image, than I have succeeded.

 This tourism proposal is based around the concept of Haiti with the “i” Haiti shaped in the form of a golden key, which represents openness, comfort, richness, friendliness, and access.

The concept is that Haiti is rich in hidden treasures, and everyone is welcome to come and discover them. It is an invitation to come on a discovery, or “scavenger hunt” to find out first hand what Haiti offers. These treasures revolve around our Music, our History, our Natural Wonders, our Food, our Spirit.

With these in mind, the Marketing Campaign is structured around these 5 themes with all of them ending with the catchprase “Unlock the Secrets of Haiti” as the final caption.

The Marketing campaign can include:

1. Bulletin boards (at airports)
2. Print Ads (Newspaper & Magazines)
3. TV commercials
4. Radio ads

5. Tourism Conventions (distribution of symbolic keys)
